Ports of Call recently announced the winner of the grand prize for agents who completed the Ports of Call Specialist Program on Travelweek’s Learning Centre. Amanda Stewart of CAA Burlington has won a 7-night stay at the Ports of Call Resort located in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos for two, with roundtrip air from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Stewart says, “I am still in shock that I actually won a week trip to the Ports of Call Resort in Turks and Caicos just by doing an online training. The online courses offered by Travelweek tend to be informative as well as interesting. The fact that there’s a possibility to win prizes by completing the training is an added bonus.”
Janelle Jones, resort marketing manager, Ports of Call, personally made the trip to Burlington to award the prize to Amanda.
Jones says, “We are incredibly pleased with the results we received from the Ports of Call Specialist Program featured on Travelweek’s Learning Centre. We had over 250 Travel Agents become Specialists to learn more about our resort, but also the island of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.”
While the prize portion of Specialist Program is now complete, it will still be available Travelweek’s Learning Centre until June of 2014. Agents can still learn about one of the fastest growing properties in the Turks and Caicos and earn 12% commission on future reservations.
“We are excited that our program was not only informative, but has an additional commission incentive for the agents who completed the program. The Ports of Call Resort looks forward to accommodating all new and existing guests in the near future,” further explains Jones.
Port of Call Resort is centrally located in Grace Bay within walking distance from many shops and restaurants – closer than other resorts. It offers 29 standard rooms, plus 69 deluxe guestrooms in two three-story buildings. The beach is 300 yards from the resort and is fully staffed and equipped perfect for fun and relaxing days at the beach.
