TORONTO – The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced the winner of their Specialist Program, live on Travelweek’s Learning Centre, as Sheila Little of Sears Travel in Belleville, Ontario.
“What a thrill to win such a fantastic trip! Thanks to the Hong Kong Specialist Program, I have a wealth of information that I look forward to experiencing in person,” says Sheila Little.
The grand prize includes a round trip ticket to Hong Kong courtesy of the Cathay Pacific and 4-nights hotel accommodation, plus airport transfers, city tours and a local SIM card.
“It was a great pleasure to do the program. I didn’t know a thing about Hong Kong before the course and know I am much more familiar with the city and what it has to offer, making me more confortable selling it to my clients,” continues Little.
The Specialist Program has been designed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board to provide an in-depth understanding of one of Asia’s most dynamic and beautiful cities, helping agents to understand the attractions, accommodation, transport links and more. It will leave travel agents with the latest knowledge to help sell one of the most popular Asian destinations for Canadians.
The Hong Kong Tourism Board partnered with Cathay Pacific to offer the prize. Cathay Pacific offers 10 weekly non-stop flights from Toronto to Hong Kong, plus 14 flights weekly from Vancouver. From Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific flies to over 70 destinations in Asia, including 20 cities in China.
